Stanley County Splits Road Doubleheader in Selby

The Stanley County Buffaloes would split its doubleheader on Friday against the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines as the girls would fall 44-28, but the boys would win 55-43.

The Lady Buffs struggled to score in the loss as they have now dropped five straight and are 1-5 on the season. It’s the fourth time in the five losses they were held under 30 points. Herreid/Selby picks up its first win of the season.

The Stanley County boys were able to hold off the Wolverines getting the 12 point win Friday night. It improves the Buffs to 3-1 on the season and it extends its favorable schedule over the next couple of weeks for Stanley County to try and rack up more wins. The Buffs have scored at least 50 points in all three of the wins so far this season.

The Buffaloes will have a doubleheader on Tuesday at home against Highmore-Harrold. Tip off of the girls game will be around 6:30 with the boys game to follow at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
