PIERRE, (KCCR) — A Pierre man is accused of sexually assaulting his niece. Officers responded to the 100 block of Hampton Drive Thursday around 8:30 pm following a report of a possible sexual assault. Pierre police arrested 29 year-old Reece Clown on two charges, Sexual Contact with a Child Under 16 and Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. According to a probable cause affidavit on file in Hughes County, the alleged victim found Clown on her bed and asked him to leave. The victim also told investigators Clown made her drink “Juice” or a mixed alcoholic beverage. The affidavit further reads that Clown twice attempted to touch the victims chest and later during the incident inside her shorts. Clown is also accused of trying to pull the victim to him from behind. Clown told police he was only trying to have fun and thought the victim was high on T-H-C. Both the victim and Clown were given preliminary breath tests. Clown’s P-B-T registered point-two-two-nine.
