PIERRE, (KCCR) — As work continues on the John C. Waldron Memorial Bridge between Pierre and Fort Pierre so do the change orders. A change order report was presented to the South Dakota State Transportation Commission during the Commission’s final November meeting. Director of Operations Craig Smith told the Commission the 128-thousand-856-dollar change order was to accommodate the installation of guardrail posts near the bridge…
The change order was the 38th on the 49-point-nine million dollar project. Over one-point-one million dollars in change orders have taken place during the bridge’s construction.
