Kafka, Hand Selected for Big Dakota All-Conference Volleyball

Brylee Kafka and Reese Hand, seniors for the Stanley County Volleyball team are selected for the Big Dakota All-Conference team with Hand being an honorable mention.

Kafka, led the team in kills finishing just shy of 200 with 194 in total. Kafka also had 132 digs as she played all the way round in the Stanley County rotation. She also finished with a serve percentage at 92% committing very few service errors. TJ Drageset, head coach of the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes, says she stepped up and took a big leadership role this year…

Hand, the libero for the Lady Buffs, had 324 digs on the season for Stanley County and finished with 46 aces as well. On top of Kafka having a 92% service percentage, Hand finished at 92.2%. Another Lady Buff who had very few service errors on the season. Drageset says Hand was a quiet leader, but showed her work ethic…

Drageset says this group of seniors left a lasting impression on the rest of the team…

Other members of the Big Dakota All-Conference team are Jolie Palmer, Aleah Schlechter, Paige Werdel and Kate Lichty of Miller. Gracen Werdel was honorable mention.
