PIERRE, (KCCR) — Law enforcement officials are reminding motorists to move over for first responders after two crashes involving failure to abide by the state’s Move Over law. Jackson County Sheriff Tucker Amiotte was injured when his patrol pickup was crushed in a rear-end crash in Pennington County. On the other side of the state in Union County, a South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers’ patrol car sustained left rear damage in a crash on Interstate 29.
