While there are no easy games when it comes to the state tournament, but when you’re the top seed for your class you think, by seeds, this will be the easiest opponent of the weekend. For the Miller Rustlers in Class A, it may very well be the opposite. The Rustlers face seven time defending state champion Sioux Falls Christian to open up the state tournament on Thursday.
The Chargers are 25-12 having only lost to five teams inside the state of South Dakota. Sioux Falls Christian lost to Dakota Valley twice and Dell Rapids who are in the Class A state tournament. The Chargers have won seven of eight heading into the state tournament with its only loss to undefeated AA Harrisburg. Sioux Falls Christian is led by Brietta Tims who has 327 kills while Addisen Barber has over 800 assists on the season. Miller is a very balanced attack with five girls having over 100 kills, but the Chargers are right there with the Rustlers also having five players with over 100 kills.
