The Potter County Battlers’ season would come to an end on Thursday night with a three set loss to the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines by scores of 25-13, 25-19 and 25-17.
The Wolverines would knock off the Battlers for the third time this season and second time in Selby. Herreid/Selby didn’t allow a set to go to Potter County this year in any of the three matches. Seniors Ava Larson, Rayel Persoon, Taylyn Rausch and Zoe Meinke finish their volleyball careers with the Battlers with a record of 19-12 this year.
Herreid/Selby improves to 18-11 and will face Hitchcock-Tulare who is 30-2 on Tuesday, November 12 in the Class B SoDak 16 game. Game time and location is still to be determined.
