The Sully Buttes Chargers will travel to Corsica tonight to face the Corsica-Stickney Jaguars in the 4-5 game in the Class 9B quarterfinal.
The two teams have met every year over the last three seasons with the Jaguars picking up the latest win with a 14-0 victory in Corsica last season. Corsica-Stickney is 7-2 on the season with the two losses to Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian and then to top seeded Avon. Both Sully Buttes and Corsica-Stickney beat Hitchcock-Tulare, Sunshine Bible Academy and Herreid/Selby Area with the Jaguars beating Herried/Selby in the first round of the playoffs last week. The Chargers, at 8-1, have its only loss to the second seeded Faulkton Area Trojans. Sully Buttes beat Arlington 54-0 in the first round of the playoffs last Thursday.
