The Sully Buttes Chargers were unable to take a set from the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers on Tuesday night as the Chargers close the season with a 25-15, 25-8 and 25-19 loss.
Sully Buttes will close the season at 3-23 and will stay in the eighth spot in the Region 6B standings after Tiospaye Topa beat Wakpala. The Chargers had a difficult stretch to close the season and lost eight in a row. But they will get a home game on Monday to start the playoffs in the 8-9 matchup, before having to travel to face the top seed in the region, if they win the first round game. Mobridge-Pollock finishes the regular season at 25-8 and is the two seed in Region 6A.
