The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be in Brookings tonight in the final two games of the season as the Govs look for a final ESD win and to stop a three game skid.
The Bobcats have had some highly ranked wins, notably opening the season with a five set win over Aberdeen Central. However, Brookings did lose to Rapid City Central on Friday who are below them in the standings. Brookings is 12-15 on the season and will face Yankton and Harrisburg to close out the season next week. Pierre, at 6-12, are in 15th place in the AA standings and still look to be able to make the SoDak 16, but a win will certainly guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. Pierre will face 16-4 Jefferson to close the season next Tuesday.
