PIERRE, (KCCR) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash of a semi south of Midland Monday morning. In a release, the Patrol says a 62 year-old Winner man suffered minor injuries in the crash. The man was driving a 2023 Freightliner north on South Dakota Highway 63 near mile marker 91 when the truck left the road surface to the right. The driver over corrected causing the truck to roll over on it’s passenger side, coming to rest in the southbound lane of Highway 63. The highway was blocked for a time until the crash could be cleared. The crash happened seven miles south of Midland into northern Jackson County.
