Tonight, the Sully Buttes Chargers will host the Arlington Cardinals in the first round of the 9B playoffs in the 5-12 contest as the Chargers look for the eighth win of the 2024 season.
The Chargers picked up a 60-6 win over Sunshine Bible Academy last week to remain in fifth place in the standings. Arlington would fall to Hitchcock-Tulare 30-22 last Friday to close the season at 4-4 dropping its final two games of the season to be in 12th place overall. Both the Sunshine Bible game and Hitchcock-Tulare game are the two common opponents between the two teams. Arlington beat Sunshine Bible to begin the season with a 14-0 win, while Sully Buttes knocked off Hitchcock-Tulare 48-18 in the third game of the season.
