Two weeks after the first meeting, the Pierre Governors and Huron Tigers are set to compete tonight at Riggs High School as the Govs will honor their seniors on senior night.
Pierre and Huron are tied in seed points and are in 14th in the AA standings. Pierre wants to extract some revenge after the Tigers won in four sets two weeks ago on Tuesday, October 8 in Huron. The Tigers lost last Thursday to the Jefferson Cavaliers in three sets as they are now 6-12 on the season. Pierre stopped a four game losing streak against Yankton and are now 6-9 on the year. With two home games remaining and Friday being Dig Pink night, the Govs will honor the seniors tonight. Kiera Gossman, Ava Swenson, Ely Broers, Savannah Fullerton, Grace Hanten, Jaycee Bauer, Campbell Cronin and Addison Soma will all be honored before the game.
