While Sully Buttes tried to keep it close, the Stanley County Lady Buffs had far fewer hitting errors and cruised to a 26-24, 25-13 and 25-19 match in Onida Tuesday night.
The Chargers would make runs, only to suffer hitting errors, and committed double the service errors, 8 to 4, to help Stanley County improve to 13-9 on the season.
The Lady Buffs had strong play from senior Brylee Kafka, sophomore JoRayah Walker, and junior Breckyn Huebner to help propel Stanley County offensively.
The Chargers were led in kills by Payge Bakker and Madison Bradberry, but once again, hitting errors cost the Chargers the match, as they fell to 3-20 on the year.
The Chargers will host 13-9 Herreid/Selby Area next Tuesday, with two road games left in the regular season, while Stanley County hosts 4-8 Dupree Thursday night for Parents and Seniors night at Parkview Gym.
