PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar including the minutes from the October 8th meeting, the claims and two raffle requests. One is for Sotera Youth and Family Services Collective and the second for the Pierre Area Senior Center. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for an application for a temporary wine license for the Alley Wine Walk on October 19th from noon to five pm. Only three items of new business will come before the Commission. Commissioners will consider consultant agreement with H-W Lochner for a project at Pierre Regional Airport, a resolution regarding the city’s stance on Initiated Measure 28 and final documentation for the Runway Seven-Two-Five project. Commissioners will conclude the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
