Emery Larson would score another top five finish for the Pierre Governor cross country team while the girls would place third overall and the boys placing seventh in Watertown.
Larson would place fourth with a time of 18:22, 57 seconds off the leader as she, Harper Shaffer in 21st and Gwen Richter in 27th would place inside the top 30. On the boys side, Jayden Brandt would lead the way placing 25th at 17:21, a new PR. Jim Neddo would take 37th also setting a new PR as seven of the nine runners for the Governors would set a new PR on the day.
