The Sully Buttes Chargers will be on the road tonight with just three games remaining, as they travel to Faith to face the winless Longhorns looking to get back into the win column.
The Chargers dropped a 28-8 decision to the Faulkton Area Trojans last Friday and are now 4-1 on the season. Sully Buttes is still in fourth place in the 9B standings, but don’t want to lose any more spots as the final three teams are all under .500 which included Faith who is 0-5. The Longhorns have scored just 28 points and only three touchdowns as the last two games have been called with 50 point games. It is the Homecoming game for Faith tonight. Tom Moore, head coach of the Sully Buttes Chargers says even though the record isn’t there, this is not a team they are overlooking…
Moore says he expects this to be a physical game tonight in Faith just like any West River team…
DT Meyer, the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers will have the call on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with kickoff at 7:00 Central Time.
