Potter County Takes Sully Buttes Down in Four Sets

Despite strong rallies by Sully Buttes, the Chargers were once again done in by unforced errors, but still managed to give the Potter County Lady Battlers a match. In the end it was Potter County 25-17, 25-12, 20-25 and 25-17 Tuesday night in Gettysburg.

The Chargers had strong net play, and improved backline digging, but 14 service errors threw cold water on any rallies the Chargers might have started.

Potter County, meanwhile had strong backline play by freshman libero Alyssa Kaup along with timely hitting and serving from senior Zoe Meinke

The Chargers were led by junior Madison Bradberry in kills, and Olivia Olson with strong service and front middle hitting.

The 2-13 Chargers travel to Philip to take on the 8-9 Lady Scotties Thursday. Potter County, now 11-5 on the season, travels to Ipswich to take on the 13-4 Tigers.
