The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes are back into the win column after rolling to a sweep of the Crow Creek Lady Chieftains 25-14, 25-16 and 25-13 in its Homecoming match.
The Lady Buffs, after dropping two straight at home was not going to let a third match get away from them as they were able to put in some of the reserves in the third set to get some valuable varsity playing time. Breckyn Heubner led the way for the Lady Buffs with 10 kills along with two blocks while Brylee Kafka finished with eight kills. Caycee Knight had 22 assists for the Lady Buffs while also getting two kills, two aces and digging six. Reese Hand would finish with a match high five aces for the now 10-7 Lady Buffaloes. Crow Creek drops to 2-7.
Stanley County will travel to Mobridge on Thursday to face the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers in a tough Region 6A contest. First serve of the varsity match will be around 7:00.
