As the tough schedule continues for Stanley County, the Wall Eagles would remain unbeaten in 9A with a 41-6 win over the Stanley County Buffaloes in Fort Pierre on Friday night.
The Buffaloes changed up its look offensively and would run different players taking snaps. With the Eagles leading 21-0 early in the second quarter, Colton Brady would connect with Blaize Frost on a pass to set up the Buffs at the one yard line. Brady would run it in taking the snap on a designed run, but the two point conversion failed, which put the Buffs behind 21-6. Wall finished the first half at 34-6 and added one more score in the second half to enact the running clock.
Wall is now 5-0 on the season while Stanley County is 1-5 and will have its Homecoming game on Friday. The Buffs will host 4-1 Kimball-White Lake who had a bye this week. Kickoff from Ole Williamson Field will be at 7:00.
