Bothun Finishes Under Par, Governors Third in Watertown

Nick Bothun would finish a shot under par and tied for fourth place as the Governors would finish in third place, four shots back in Watertown on Tuesday.

Bothun was just three shots off the lead as Charlie Swift of Harrisburg was four shots under par at 68 while Kaden Rylance and Cole Jansen each were a shot behind him at three under par, tying for second. Sawyer Sonnenschein would get ninth at two over par, 74 as the two would finish in the top ten. Luke Olson and Lincoln Houska would tie for 19th at four over par, 76. Jack Bartlett would tie for 25th at five over par, 77 and Tate Stoeser would tie for 39th at an 81.

The Governors finished nine over par as a team, just four shots behind both Watertown and Mitchell for the team win. This is the course for the state tournament which gives the Govs plenty to look at and now work through with the state tournament less than two weeks away.

Pierre will have the ESD next, which will be on Monday in Aberdeen.
