For the first time this season, the Pierre Governor volleyball team will be traveling east as the Lincoln Patriots will play host as both teams look to bounce back from Tuesday losses.
The Governors are coming in back at the .500 mark with a 4-4 record as the Washington Warriors would sweep the Govs improving to 5-1 on the season. The Lincoln Patriots would be swept on the road against Aberdeen Central as they fall to 4-5 on the season, its the fourth straight loss. In fact, the Patriots only wins have come at the Huron tournament and are 0-5 in regular season matches. Pierre had a four match winning streak stopped and have lost back-to-back games for the second time this season. Pierre will return home on Saturday against Tea as these are the last two games of the month of September and will have two weeks between games after Saturday.
