The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be at home to start another three game week as they host the Washington Warriors tonight before traveling to Sioux Falls on Thursday.
The Governors four match winning streak came to an end on Saturday falling to Spearfish in three sets as Pierre sits at 4-3 on the season. The Washington Warriors are 4-1 on the season and are number two in the AA standings heading into tonight. The Warriors lost a four set match to Jefferson, the top team in AA. Washington has sweeps over Lincoln, Mitchell and Yankton with a five set win over Roosevelt. Pierre will see Lincoln on Thursday. It’s a strong test for the Governors who will take on a couple of Sioux Falls teams this week before hosting winless Tea on Saturday.
