The Stanley County Buffaloes would get the offense rolling and never look back getting the first win of the season over Redfield on the road Friday night beating the Pheasants 44-8.
Brendan Bothwell would start the night off right away. Bothwell would return the opening kick nearly 90 yards to get the Buffaloes off and running in a blink of an eye. Colton Brady would add on to the first quarter lead with a 27 yard touchdown run to make it 14-0 Buffs. Brady added on a second touchdown run to make it 22-0 after one quarter. Landon Bame would add a touchdown run early in the second quarter. Stanley County would get the running clock enacted on a defensive touchdown as Paxton Deal would intercept a pass and return it for a touchdown to make it 38-0 at the half.
Stanley County improves to 1-3 on the season as Redfield falls to 0-4 on the year. Stanley County returns home for the rest of the regular season hosting Gregory Friday night. Kickoff from Ole Williamson Field is at 7:00.
