The Ipswich Tigers are celebrating Homecoming Week, and took the opportunity to feast on mistakes and unforced errors by the Sully Buttes Chargers coming away with a 25-17, 25-20, 25-13 three set sweep Tuesday night in Ipswich.
The 3-1 Tigers kept bringing in fresh players off the bench for every situation they faced while Sully Buttes tried their best to keep pace, but just didn’t have enough to overcome a continuous left side attack by the Tigers falling to 1-6 on the season. Unforced errors were once again the Achillies heel for the Chargers. Despite Ipswich leading Sully Buttes in service errors 11-7, the Chargers made too many mistakes to notch their second victory.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Chargers as they face a talented Winner Warrior squad Thursday night at home before traveling to Philip Saturday for a 10 team tournament.
Ipswich goes to Sunshine Bible Academy Thursday for a contest against the Crusaders.
