The Pierre Governor cross country team will be out in Sioux Falls tonight for the Augustana Twilight Run in its second meet of the season.
It’s a rare evening and Friday run for the Governors who will usually use the mornings or early afternoons for events. The run also includes colleges at Yankton Trail Park, notably South Dakota State. Jessica and Jared Lutmer, two Pierre alum, are currently running for the Jacks as the two can cheer on its alma mater and the Governors can cheer on two former runners. The Governors hosted the first invite of the season last week Friday at Steamboat Park. This will be the first regular season 5K for the Govs.
The varsity runs are scheduled to start at 6:00 tonight at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.
