The road contests continue for the Stanley County Lady Buffalo volleyball team. This time, the Lady Buffs will be at Bennett County on Saturday for a triangular along with Wall.
Almost everybody in the state got underway on Tuesday, but both Bennett County and Wall did not play with Saturday’s games the first of the season for the two teams. Last season, the Lady Buffs swept the Warriors as they finished at 11-16, but still made the Class A SoDak 16 falling to Sioux falls Christian. Now, Bennett County drops down to Class B in Region 7.
The Wall Eagles didn’t make the Class B SoDak 16 last season, falling in the Region 7 semifinal, finishing the year at 22-8. However, the Eagles would go 2-0 in the triangular in Ft. Pierre last season with a 3-1 win over Stanley County and sweeping Bennett County. Stanley County will be looking for another couple of wins to go 3-0 in the first week of the season.
First serve is scheduled for 2:00 with Stanley County and Bennet County to play first before the Lady Buffaloes play Wall in the following match all at the Warrior Center in Martin.
