Stanley Count Dominates Chamberlain in Opening Match Sweep

The Stanley County Buffaloes traveled out to Chamberlain on Tuesday and made a statement in the first match of the year, sweeping the Cubs 25-11, 25-20 and 25-8.

It’s the third win in the last two seasons against the Cubs. Chamberlain had the first set tied 4-4 before Stanley County controlled the remaining of the set with a six straight point outcome and kept the Cubs at least a handful away the rest of the set. But it was much tougher in set two. Chamberlain had an 11-4 lead getting to the midway point of the set before the Lady Buffs started to rally and took a 20-19 lead late and hold on to go up 2-0. Then the momentum was all on the side of Stanley County who left no doubt in the dominating third set rolling 25-8.
