Chargers Experience Hopes to Bring Success

The Sully Buttes Charger volleyball team will bring back all but two players from last year’s 13-18 team as the experience can bring success.

The Chargers graduated both Stevie Wittler and Trichelle White, the two seniors on last year’s squad, but everybody else is eligible to come back. The Chargers will be looking to build on those returning girls and have early season success. Heading into the season Olivia Olson, Sheridan Voorhees, Annaliese Van Zee and Payge Bakker will be the four seniors for the Chargers along with Cateri Yellowhawk, Berkley Birney, Madison Bradberry, Isabelle Kallhoff, Tavery Smith and Scotlynn Kinney as juniors. Bohle says this team chemistry is showing great strengths…

The Chargers open the season on Tuesday, August 27 against Jones County, but then will also host a weekend tournament so it will be plenty of games in the first week. Bohle says she likes the amount of games to be played in the first week to see where the team stands right away…
