Ellsworth scored mid-pack in education in studies conducted by the Base Realignment and Closure Committee. With work already being done at Ellsworth in anticipation of the B-21, Mortenson says there could likely be legislation to help the base in the Capitol this winter…

Also presenting to lawmakers at the two hour meeting were Elevate Rapid City, the City of Box Elder and the South Dakota Department of Transportation.
