Heading into the 2025 high school baseball season, the Pierre Governors will be changing how they do tryouts along with how teams are made for this next season.
Over the years, the baseball tryouts have always been at the end of the summer, early fall. However, this next year, they will have tryouts throughout the months of January, February and early March. Those dates will be announced at a later date. This will also see the first separate junior varsity team for 2025. The Governors had incorporated a JV team over the last couple of years, but the schedule was limited and most everybody who made the team were there as varsity member. Now, there will be a full JV squad.
