Several Pierre Golfers will be competing on Sunday at the Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion at the South Dakota Golf Association Adult-Junior Championship before the Junior Championship Monday through Wednesday.
To be eligible for the Adult-Junior championship, the junior must be 18 years or under and the adult must be related to the junior golfer and be over the age of 25. The two alternate shots with juniors teeing off on even holes and the adults to tee off on odd holes. Those competing in the 16-18 division will be competing for the SDGA Championship. Several of the Pierre Governors who will be competing will be Lincoln Houska teaming up with Clint Olson, Jack Bartlett with Mike Bartlett, Nick Bothun with Scott Bothun and Sawyer Sonnenschein with Taylor Sonnenschein. Also Jayce Pugh will be competing with Kash, Riley and Robert Pugh.
