The Fremont Moo would beat the Oahe Zap 13-5 on Thursday on a hot evening as the Zap close out the home portion of the season.
Oahe has now dropped seven in a row and after hold to a 4-3 deficit through two innings, the Moo would score four runs in the third to hold the lead for good. The Zap had just four hits as Emiliano Curiel-Montijo went 2-2 and Noah Wiggins and Aiden Johnson had the other two hits. Curiel-Montijo, Mason Lang and Garren Gledhill each had an RBI for the Zap in the final home game of the season. As pitching is limited, Oahe had to use five pitchers in the loss with Brady Glenn going the deepest in his outing at three and 2/3 innings allowing three runs, but one earned on three hits, two walks and three strikeouts.
Oahe is now 9-13 in the second half of the season and will close out the season this weekend in Casper, Wyoming facing the Spuds. First pitch on Friday and Saturday is at 7:30 with the final game of the season on Sunday having first pitch at 4:00.
