After splitting its two games two weekends ago, the Pierre Little League will be playing in the state tournament this weekend in Rapid City.
The four team tournament is a double elimination tournament with no team playing twice in a day unless necessary on Sunday to determine the state champion. Pierre will face the Rapid City Little League in their first game of the tournament as Sioux Falls will take on Canyon Lake in the other game. Regardless of Thursday’s outcome, Pierre will play again on Friday whether in an elimination game or get to the state championship.
