Zap Walk Off Bison for Fifth Straight Win

Friday night, the Oahe Zap would get a walk off on a two run single from Noah Wiggins to beat the Bison Baseball team 10-9 an extend the winning streak to five.

Both teams had five run innings, but the Zap would lead 3-2 after five. The five run sixth and a run in the seven gave the Bison an 8-3 advantage before the Zap would rally for five runs in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game. The Bison would score its automatic runner on second in the top of the tenth, but it would be the two run single from Wiggins to win it. Oahe had 10 hits as Wiggins, Vince Polizi and Tyler Martin each had two hits. Wiggins would triple and Polizi would double. Jake Hutter would get the win on the mound going the final two innings only allowing the automatic runner to score against him.

Oahe is now 7-6 in the second half of the season with the win streak now at five. The Zap will host Spearfish on Monday after two days off this weekend. First pitch is at 6:05 from Hyde Stadium in Pierre.
