The Oahe Zap will finally get back on the field having last played on Saturday and had four days off, but will continue to play the Bison Baseball Team at Hyde Stadium.
The Zap ended the Fourth of July weekend with a bang winning all three games against the Bison in the team’s first three game winning streak of the season and moved back to a game under .500 at 5-6 in the second half of the season. But for the Zap, it hopefully didn’t come at the wrong time. The team will hope the winning streak and the four consecutive days off will be beneficial to lead the team to feel good at the break and come back fresh and continue to grind out wins to try and get to the top of the standings at the end of the summer to compete for the Independence League Championship. It’s a quick two game series before Spearfish will be in town next week.
First pitch tonight from Hyde Stadium is at 6:05 between the Zap and the Bison.
