PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. In special business, new terms will start for Commissioners Jamie Huizenga and Todd Johnson along with the swearing-in of both men. Commission assignments for the next year will also be determined. Only three items of new business make up the agenda, two of those items are first readings. One is for an ordinance revision for service locate updates and the second is for curb stop operation. The final regular item for consideration by the Pierre City Commission tonight is altering the hours of operation for the new outdoor pool. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
