The Oahe Zap would fall both 10-3 and 12-6 on Saturday and Sunday to the Casper Spuds after taking the finale of the five game set with Spearfish on Friday.
Leandro Guevara would get two of the three RBIs in the 10-3 loss on Sunday as Aiden Johnson and Noah Wiggins would each double for the Zap. Casper would score in every inning but the fourth as Chandler Stocking went deep for the Spuds.
On Sunday, the Zap would outhit the Spuds 12-11, but couldn’t score enough to hang with Casper in a 12-6 loss. Vince Pollizi and Mason Lang each had two RBIs and Johnson had another double while Pollizi went 3-4 at the plate. Oahe lead 6-3 heading into the bottom of the sixth and 6-4 after six innings, but it would be a three run seventh to take the lead and a five run eighth to put the game away as the Spuds would get a quick two game sweep of the Zap.
Oahe falls to 5-22 on the season while Casper improves to 19-4. The Zap return home and have three different two game sets this week, all at home. Tonight, the Zap will face the Plainsmen with first pitch at 6:05.
