The Pierre Governor girls golf team would end the season finishing in 12th place in the AA state tournament in Yankton on Tuesday with Hadley Hart finishing tied for 29th.
Hart would shoot 11 shots better in day two jumping 13 spots to be at a 185 overall. Annie Mosteller would finish in 39th place shooting eight shots better in the second day to finish at 190 overall. Drew Rechtenbaugh and Sittie Kasan would finish with a 226 over the two day tournament.
Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink would overtake first place to win the AA title beating out Aberdeen Central’s Olivia Braun by a single stroke. Watertown, though, would win the AA state team title after trailing in third place on day one by two shots, the Arrows would win by three stokes over Mitchell and 15 strokes over Aberdeen Central.
