After playing the first five games at home, the Oahe Zap will head out on the road for a two game set against the Hastings Sodbusters starting tonight.
The Zap are 1-4 to begin the year, but have dropped three straight games including the final two games against the Fremont Moo and the lone game loss to the Spearfish Sasquatch on Tuesday. Hastings is coming in at 0-1 having only played Fremont on Tuesday at home. The Sodbusters lost 6-1 to the Moo. Because of the number of teams in the league, the schedule gets broken up with teams having extra days off at different points in the year which is why the Sodbusters have only played one game to the Zap’s five games. Oahe has scored at least three runs in each of the first five games, but have given up at least five runs in each of those games.
First pitch tonight and Friday night is at 6:35 in Hastings, Nebraska.
