The Sully Buttes Chargers boys golf team will all be heading to the state tournament in two weeks with both Olivia Olson and Berkley Birney qualifying individually.
The Charger boys squad would finish tied for second at the Region meet which qualifies the entire team to participate in the state championships. Wesley Wittler would win the Region 5B event with a 72 and Gavin Colson would be in second with a 73. Jonas Olson would finish with a 96 and Logan Severson a 111.
For the two girls, both would place inside the top ten as Olson would take second place with an 85 and Birney was seventh with a 95.
The Class B state championships will take place in Brookings on Monday and Tuesday, June 3-4.
