Zabel would go five innings on the mound with five hits, three runs, one earned, on three walks and five strikeouts. JJ Bucholz would get the final six outs and with runners at second and third with one out in a 6-5 game, Bucholz would strike out Mark Kathol and after an intentional walk, would strike out Easton Nelson to close out the game and pick up the save to push the Governors one win away from clinching a spot in the state tournament.
