The Pierre Governor track and field team would pick up a couple of wins on Thursday in Huron to close out the regular season and get set for the state meet.
Charlee William-Smith in the 400 meters and Reese Terwilliger in the shot put would pick up the two wins for the Governors as Pierre finished with a total of 23 top five finishes in the final event of the regular season. William-Smith was also second in the 200 meter run while Grace Richter finished in second in the 400 meters. Also getting second was Lincoln Dilges in the 110 meter hurdles and Carson Stoeser in the long jump.
