The Brandon Valley Lynx would shutout the Pierre Governors 13-0 on Tuesday in a game called with one out in the fourth inning due to weather.
While the game didn’t get to the full conclusion, the score and where the season stands, both teams agreed upon the end of the game calling it final as the Lynx scored multiple runs in all four innings. Brnadon Valley opened up the first inning with a 5-0 lead and led 9-0 through three before adding another four runs in the fourth. Pierre did have first and second with one out in the fourth but only had just collected its second hit. Micah Buffalo doubled in the second and Ireland Templeton singled to lead off the fourth. Erin Leiferman was tagged with the loss giving up 13 runs, 12 earned, on 14 hits with one walk and a strike out.
Pierre will travel to Sioux Falls on Friday for a set of three games with two Friday and one Saturday. Pierre will face Harrisburg at 12:00 followed and Roosevelt to follow before taking on Washington at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
