The Sioux Falls Canaries are set to begin the season on Friday traveling to the Lake County Dockhounds in Wisconsin as Pierre native, Spencer Sarringar starts his first full season with the Canaries.
Sarringar signed with the Canaries in mid-July of 2023 starting his professional career in the American Association after playing in the Division II College Baseball World Series with Rollins College. Sarringar hit .266 last season with two home runs and 17 RBIs in 19 games for the Canaries. He is one of two catchers on the roster heading into the 2024 season.
First pitch on Friday in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin is at 6:35 on Friday.
