The Pierre Governor track and field team will be at home for the final time this season today as the Govs host the Capital City Qualifier as a total of 17 teams will be in Pierre.
From the area, Sully Buttes, Stanley County, Miller, Lyman and Potter County will join the competition for the day. It’s the last time at home for the Track and Field team with only the ESD remaining and for many of the teams competing today outside of AA schools, only Region meets are left before the state championships start on Thursday May 23 in Sioux Falls.
The Field events begin at 3:00 with the track events to start at 4:00 from Hollister Field in Pierre.
