It’s now been over a week since the Governor softball played its first two games of the season and for now the third time, the Governors are looking to travel to Rapid City to face Central tonight.
The Governors were supposed to play the Cobblers to open the season two weeks ago, but winter weather and the cold had other plans. Then the Governors were supposed to be in Rapid City to begin the week to face Stevens and Sturgis and again winter weather stopped it from happening. Now, the 1-1 Govs will face the Cobblers tonight as Central begins its season. The Cobblers had three different games postponed before tonight and will also play Watertown.
First pitch between Pierre and Rapid City Central is at 5:00 Central time tonight in Rapid City.
