The Pierre Governors went 5-3 in the ESD conference this year, but another state tournament bid lands two Governors on the All-ESD team as senior Reese Terwilliger and junior Lennix DuPris were named to the first team.
For Terwilliger, she led the team in both scoring and rebounding as she averaged 14.7 points per game while grabbing 5.9 rebounds a game. Terwilliger was the catalyst for the presence inside the paint for the Governors both offensively and defensively. Krik Beebout, head coach of the Governors echoes the statement…
DuPris wasn’t much behind in points per game. She averaged 14.3 points a game, second on the team and nearly averaged four steals a game. As much as Terwilliger is the catalyst inside, DuPris is the same around the perimeter driving the Govs up and down the floor. Beebout says she’s definitely put in the time…
Both Terwilliger and DuPris, along with Ryann Barry were three starters which returned from last year and the group over the last two seasons is 37-11 with only O’Gorman having a better record. Beebout says he’s incredibly proud of this team…
