The Stanley County Buffaloes would get its revenge on Crow Creek and also up its win streak to eight games with a 67-63 win over the Chieftains on Tuesday in the first round of the Region tournament.
The Buffaloes, who’s last loss was to the Chieftains, didn’t get a lot of separation in the game, and even trailed at points throughout the night. Broch Zeeb would have 26 points to lead the Buffaloes who are now 14-7 on the season. Paxton Deal had 19 and Eddie Duffy would finish with 10.
Stanley County advances to Friday’s SoDak 16 qualifying game on heading straight back to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte School to face the Braves who beat Miller 73-59 later in the night. Tip off is set for 6:30 Central Time from Eagle Butte.
