The only thing colder than the wind Saturday was the Sully Buttes Charger boys shooting from the field, as they were shut out in the second quarter, and fell 51-19 to James Valley Christian Saturday afternoon at the Warner Classic.
The Chargers trailed 28-6 at the half, and could find no rhythm offensively, with shots missing from outside the arc, and under the hoop. Midway through the third quarter James Valley had extended their lead, and the running clock was instituted, with the Vikings and Chargers both emptying their benches to allow JV players to finish the game.
After a huge win Thursday night, Sully Buttes now slips to 8-11 on the season, while the Vikings up their mark to 11-8.
Sully Buttes has one more regular season game Friday night on the road against North Central, and will be broadcast on Country 95.3FM.
